LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas State softball went 2-0 in its final day at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic. The wins included a perfect game from in a 7-0 win, and a 9-1 run-rule victory against New Mexico State. The 'Cats had four home runs and 12 extra-base hits in the two wins.
Starting things off with a rematch from yesterday's loss, the Bobcats dished out a perfect game 7-0 win. tossed the complete game for the Bobcats where she retired 21 straight batters for a perfect game, the first seven inning perfect game since 2008.
