The biggest puzzle piece in building out the Los Angeles Lakers roster this offseason is LeBron James. Everything revolves around LeBron, for better or worse, and finding role players that are comfortable around him is the key to being successful.
We saw a group of players that fit nicely next to LeBron after the 2023 trade deadline with the changes the Lakers made. Now, with a blank slate this summer, Rob Pelinka and co. should be looking to find more players that can fit in this manner.
Perhaps that means going after players that previously played with LeBron and know everything that it entails.
